Healthy meal options:

  • avoid processed foods

  • avoid added/refined sugars (avoid sauces with sugar ie ketsup, bbq sauce, salad dressing with hidden sugars)

  • avoid vegetable oil (use avocado or olive oil instead)

  • airfry with light avocado or olive oil as a healthier fried food option

  • learning points:

    • each meal should contain protein, fat, veggie and carb (specific templates specify quantities of each, with increased carbs allowed closer to exercise/activity and veggies being less restricted at any meal

      • never in my life did I think I’d join the avocado toast and egg white club: but the idea of egg whites used below is to add variety to the meal with the addition of avocado (yolk is considered fat and so is avocado…thus you can exchange the yolk for avocado for variety)
